No 1617 of Living Life Series 1
Go not for what we desire but go for what we must have to be in this life of flesh and body. Go for what we must have not what is good to have. Set realistic and attainable goals. Life is short and there is more to life than goals. There is the inner calling we have to address.
We need to address the mind and put it right. Be mindful of what goes through the heart (mind) not only of our own but of others as well.
Do not be blunt and direct. Decide what others can accept even if they want frank replies. Just empathize and do no more. This may often be the must do and not the good to do.
For the religious man who wishes to tell the truth, the truth may hurt and others may decide to exact pain and hurt him in return. But not to tell the truth of God and life is to perpetuate forever the wrong views and ways of men and this is also not correct.
Thus many saints born and raised in the body of flesh and blood may bleed and be physically abused, even mocked at and be at mercy of men. Men will laugh and jeer and deride the saints in flesh as being helpless. They will say that God is not with him and the saints are no saints as such.
What more for persons who are ordinary and no saints as such, they must tread with care. Be mindful and deliberate on every thought, words and actions.
They should endeavour not to be victims of what they think, speak or do. Cultivate the mindfulness, have pure thoughts that promote peace more so inner peace come what may.
Even if we are prudent, we cannot control what others think, speak or do. We can be at peace even with no peace around. We should at least not lessen the paucity of peace around.
This is is the inner peace Bo Tien 武天 teaches all to meditate to have inner peace and to be pure at heart - pure in spirit like God and heavenly saints.
This is the free spirit which all can only have regardless of their religion, culture and society.
The awesome and wonderful part is that all can do so in the religion and culture they are in. They will end up better than what they are, better in the religion and culture they are in.
