No 1600 of Living Life Series 1
When will man feel at home to be man? When will man stop thinking to be more than man? When will man think that he is better off if he is no man? Will man think he is better off if he is God or close to being God? Is religion there to make a man no longer man but the God in man?
With so many questions like these, man in religion tells a fellow man to stop being man (behaving and thinking) and all his vexations of being man will be over. Can a man wish his problems and vexations away just by mere belief that this can be done, just by stopping to think and follow another man who says so?
Even a no man like an animal will not do that. Religion must make man more man. Man must think even more than beings who are no man. Man must try to think better and in more insightful ways like those who are more than man - those who are with God and heavenly saints.
Man must know how to think he is one with all others and not one to rival others. Life of man should is no fighting pitch.
Man must be at peace and have love. To begin with, man must be comfortable with himself and not critical of (fighting with) himself like the way man is critical of others. Man must be at peace with himself and all, just like God and heavenly saints. There must be unfettered love for life and nature.
Man can have this just by being man, not less of a man or trying to be more of a man. This is the simple truth in life. This truth is in all religions, cultures and societies. Bo Tien 武天 refers to this as the Inner Truth that gives rise to inner peace and makes man truly a man, not less of man or more or man.
