No 1628 of Living Life Series 1.
Any man who is zealous and outspoken on his religious views more so in a temple can be scary to others.
It is his ego that scares others. When he puts his ego in his mouth, he expects that he is right and never wrong. He can even show that he has been right all along.
His ego is a stumbling block and he cannot see the perspectives of others. If he is loud, this will put many off and they will keep him at a distance.
He loves himself. He also adores God and heavenly saints. He can even be the chosen one to run a temple. He has qualities to do so but his ego will limit what he can do. He is loved by many yet many too are cheesed off by him.
He can be the chosen one not because he is perfect but because he is the best of the lot. His imperfection is no barrier to lead the flock.
But men are not sheep and men who are more imperfect than him too can be religious and have the right to be in a temple or religion. They will surely react and be at odds with him.
He is an asset and has proven his God worthiness. God will groom him further and he will stand to gain in spirituality. He will have to learn from life and his interactions with others.
Bo Tien 武天 says that all can learn from life their own as well as from others. There is the truth in life and the truth is simple but many have egos and cannot see. They do not have the inner peace at heart though they may have noticeable purity of purpose. The big ego in them limits whatever purity they have.
The lesson to learn is not to put the ego to the fore in mission work of a temple or religion. Ego has no place in spiritual mission to save souls. How can those with ego so big save the souls of others when they risk not being able to save their own souls?
But their intention is good and they have commitment and sense of purpose. They lack in wisdom and God can only teach him the doctrine of life. He has to cultivate wisdom. God cannot give wisdom. What religious leaders in religions need to do is to be humble and mindful that they must cultivate more wisdom.
There is need to save souls but ultimately this has to do with wisdom. Thus Bo Tien 武天 did say that the mission to save souls is by God and heavenly saints - not by men (who lack wisdom). God and heavenly saints still have to have men to lead religions and temples. Men are there to lead religions and temples but mission to save souls is by God and heavenly saints.
