No 1632 of Living Life Series 1
Man likes to write what life is like after death. This has been the case since ancient times. Man cannot have all he wants in life. It is natural therefore to spin and conjure a wonderland in the afterlife.
Even for this life, man thinks that life is unwritten and it is up to him to write his life. Isn't this good?
Yes, it is but part of life has already been written and man cannot unwrite this. Man however can write the part not yet written.
But what he writes is often wishful thinking. Man knows that and is keen not to lose what he has. So man wants to be assured that he can keep what he has and with this, he can go for more.
Man resorts to God and heavenly saints to ensure this. In a way, this is buying divine insurance.
Man cannot take chances and depend on God alone. Man then buy insurance policies which he has to pay premiums.
Even for insurance man wants from God, he too thinks that he has to pay for this. Thus there are tithes and the need to do the work of God to help and bring cheer and fellowship to others.
It seems therefore that man cannot get what he wants without insurance to ensure that he can continue to have what he already have.
He cannot insure for what he can have in the future. In a way this means that man has to work for what he wants.
But he is afraid of the unforeseen. So he buys insurance from God and from insurance companies.
This is how man tries to write his life as he thinks life is largely unwritten.
Insurance companies know that part of life is already written and will set limits and conditions or even charge a loading premium for pre-existing conditions and obvious past risks faced by the buyer.
The same if applied to God will be demeaning and insulting to God.
God cannot assure life but God can guide and teach man the truth of how to be good and pure so that man can save himself.
God cannot underwrite life of man. Man must live his own life and that is the simple truth which man will not admit but chose to believe that God will give him what he wants.
But when he cannot get what he wants, he never blame God which is good. He thinks that this is what God thinks is best for him. He has to learn from life.
Bo Tien 武天 reiterates that God and heavenly saints can give confidence and initial help but man must know the reality of life.
Life is the holy text. Man must know what God and heavenly saints stand for. Man must be pure at heart, good and humble. Man must be at peace with himself. Bo Tien 武天 refers to this as inner peace.
Without inner peace and purity, man cannot have a good life. Good life is not assured by having more worldly riches. Good life is when man is happy with his lot and move on in life with peace and ease.
Such a man is rich in spirit and he has more of life with less. Less is more. More can be less if man has no inner peace.
Do underwrite our life with inner peace and we will have more with less which is ideal. Inner peace is not given though it can be motivated by God.
Inner peace has to be cultivated so that man can have moment to moment peace and clarity of mind. This is referred to as insight or the third or divine eye.
