Do we not get it? We are stranger than we think we are. We talk about being spiritual. But when we are in religion, what we do can be no different from if we are without religion.
We bring the world of wants to where we should not have wants. That is we bring the world into religion.
In fact, religion becomes the excuse for us to be greedy and have more of what we cannot have outside religion. We end up with more conflicts and problems in religion.
We must find the solution to religion. Can this be a religion within the religion we are in?
Yes, we create problems in religion and we need find religion within the religion we have messed up.
Bo Tien 武天 says that the problems of men are many and plentiful.
Men wants happiness. But happiness is lacking in life. We turn to religion only to create unhappiness which requires us to find religion within the religion we are in.
