The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Without logic what will become of religion?

No 1611 of Living Life Series 1

Men tend to be gullible more so with what they could not understand.

Men used to think the eruption of volcano, earthquakes and lightning and thunder meant the anger of God.

Men used to think that the world was flat until it was proven by travel to be otherwise.

Men used to think that God created the first human beings and if so, then the first man and woman would have the look of gorillas. Then there would be inbreeding and humanity would have ceased to exist.

Such was the gullibility of men. What happens to the logic of man?

Well, even with organised religions, gullibility have taken over logic.

Men who can think choose not to believe in logic and are swayed by the behavior of other men. Is this the problem in religion?

Bo Tien 武天 says that the problems of men are many and plentiful.

Bo Tien 武天 notices the nature of men. Men tend to flow downstream with the crowd and give logic a miss.

Truth is based on logic. But many choose to think that truth is what others do and they flow downstream with the crowd.

Even simple logic should tell us what to believe in. We do not need to be educated to have simple logic.

Even with the tangible, many just do not apply simple logic or reasoning. When logic is taboo, what would men end up with?

Would they end up being led by the nose? Well it is sad that many choose not to believe in simple logic in life.

We can imagine the consequences if logic is a no-no in religion and we have to believe, follow the crowd and not any question or have doubt.

Bo Tien 武天 says doubt is good as doubt makes us know better when we find out more.

It is never wrong to have doubts. It is wrong if we do not find out even if we have doubts, worse still if we deny having doubts. It is good to have doubts if such doubts push us to find out and learn more.

Without logic what will become of religion? Ask anyone that and if there is simple logic, the answer will be obvious. No need to ask God or any heavenly saint like Bo Tien 武天

But we should be appreciative that Bo Tien 武天 sees the need to state the obvious.

Truth is simple but many just do not see the simplicity. They think truth is profound and find it difficult to perceive. If all can realize this simplicity, then all will be better off in what they are in life - more so in religion.
