The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Confucius (孔夫子), God and "Know me & Know you"

No 680 of Living Life Series 1

Whether life runs smooth or ends up having more issues depends on insight and approach to life.

The good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) says that the issues of men are many and plentiful and that life is always about yin and yang - the seeming contrasts or opposites like fire and water in nature. The same nature out there is also in us. How we know and manage nature in us or out there does make the difference to make life more tumultuous and stormy or more calm or peaceful.

But storms will always come and calm seas in life do not last though the better ones can make calmness and peace seem to last longer. This the good lord says and he extends the hands of God and saints in and outside religions of man to shelter men and beings in crisis so that small issues will be no issue and big issues will be small issues even if they cannot be no issues.

Do reach out for shelter of God and saints. But we do need to manage life as well and to do so, we cannot be just worshiping God and saints and leave them to run our lives.

They are not puppeteers and we are not puppets. Some men of religions seem to sell the wrong notion that we accept a saint and we will be saved and that there is no other way, not even going to other saints of other faiths. This is the approach of men and not the divine reality we should know and have. What to do when men are men after all !

The good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) says that we must know life and not just depend on God and saints who can provide shelter and make life somewhat more easier for us to manage.

But some men rather insist that they will be in paradise on earth if they just commit themselves to God and their savior saint. This however is their view but the irony is that when life don't turn out as they insist, they ensure that there will be paradise in after life even if paradise eludes us in this life.

The problem of approach to life is due to men who are too rigid or rather religiously attached to their assumptions and never bother to think further and have more insight.

The good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) prods men to know life and that life is the living gospel. He seems to point out that we should - "know me and know you". That is, we should know and learn from the experiences of our own lives and that of others around us in this world.

We need neither relive the mistakes of others nor others relive ours, otherwise we will have more pains and less gains in peace. By so knowing and at same time having the shelter of God and saints, we can better manage life and have more peace despite the ups and downs - the passive yin and active yang that we have to contend with and which is in us and around us.

Do remember to stick to the principle of "Know me. Know you." Cheers. and you may wish to know more from saints and sages like Confucius (孔夫子) who had left us with 499 quotes to chew on. One such saying is this.

"Life is really simple but we insist on making it complicated."

Life, of course, is not just about worldly or mundane life but about the spirit - spiritual life. For that we have the religions and sects of religions to open the doors for us and there are many doors to God and divine peace. This is the central message that the good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) wants us to know since his descent in 1969.

All religions are good and so are all saints. All men and beings have potential to be good in every sense of the word. But men in their claim to be good to God may complicate matters and be at odds with one another in the name of religion. That won't be good and right, be it to God or other men.

The reality is that all are different but still one in Divinity. Confucius (孔夫子) is right again when he says that life is really simple but men insist on making it complicated.

Religion too is like life and it is in fact about life. Religion is really simple but men insist on making it complicated. Only when it is complicated and big enough to capture attention will it attract men but having done so, religion in some complex way must tell men that they do not need to do anything but just believe. Isn't this what is going on and what men daydream about?

The greatest daydream is that men can do all wrong but will be forgiven and be right if they just believe and accept a saint. But God and saint help those who help themselves, don't they?

Confucius (孔夫子) says, "If you make a mistake and do not correct it, this is called a mistake."

In fact, if we live in the mistaken notion, that our mistakes will be absolved so long as we believe in a saint, that is a mistake upon mistakes. In the first place, we wrong ourselves as well as others, but not God and saints when mistakes are made.

We do disappoint God and saints but they know us and do not bear bad feelings at all but just empathize with us and the problems we will have from our mistakes. They want to help us but in the first place, we need to help ourselves. God and saints help those who help themselves.

After all the discussion above, please know ourselves better and often we may also need to know others better. That is why this post has the caption "Know me & Know you" as part of the title.
