THE PURPOSE IS TO SAVE SOULS. IT IS WAY BEYOND NORMAL GOOD WORK LIKE CHARITY AND WELFARE ACTIVITIES. NO ONE SHALL BE SAVED BY GOOD WORKS ALONE BUT BY MORE THAN GOOD WORK. THERE IS NEED TO BE IMBUED WITH THE BASIC DOCTRINE COMMON TO AND BEHIND ALL RELIGIONS AND SECTS. LIVE IN DOCTRINE. DOCTRINE IN LIFE IS PARAMOUNT.

The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

For peace, be of God and be like God.

No 684 of Living Life Series 1

Where there is peace, there is God and with God, there will be heavenly saints.

Where there are men, there will be issues. The problems of men are many and plentiful. Thus said the good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨).

So, in a house of God, let there be the presence of God and saints, more than the presence of men, and do let God and saints call the tune so that there will be more peace and less of issues of men for men.

With the presence of God and saints, issues will be no issues if small and even if big issues these will be small issues even if they cannot be no issues. This too did the good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) say.

With the right understanding of life, the issues of life will pose no problem even if there are no ideal solution. For then, such men are at peace and the events and contingencies of life in this world are mere stepping stones for them to cultivate more peace.

Thus God in life will bring peace more so if men can be like God and saints unaffected and untainted by the ups and downs, the yin and the yang of life.

The well heeled traveler of life is steep in doctrine for cultivating inner peace. He is able to move on in life and yet be ever at peace. He harvests more of the fruits of living in Tao - the balance of yin and yang to have better harmony and peace.

This inner peace is not the purview of any saint, person, sect or religion but is in every religion, sect, person and saint. The difference is that a saint has reaped the full potential of peace but a person has the potential in him to cultivate the peace.

Religion too is the reservoir for peace in men and among men but must be of God and saints but not of men. Then there will be goodwill and peace among men regardless of religion or what there may be that. For they have faith in God and saints for peace and better life - more even when there is less.

Even if a religion is operated as though there are no other religions for others to have refuge in, it will still be alright so long as they are subdued and ever want peace through God and saints and will not act in any way to disrupt the peace.

It is when they do not treasure peace in God and saints, that they may take matters in their own hands instead of leaving things in the good hands of God and saints. Then peace may take a back seat.

For peace, be of God and saints and be like God and saints. A good example of peace we should have is the peace of Christmas season when peace is for all men and joy be to the world regardless of religion though it is the celebration of Christ. Christians and non Christians have the same joy and peace on Christmas Day.

Let bells ring not just on Christmas but for every day so that all men can share and have the same peace and joy - but they have to be of God and be like God in some way. All should believe in the God out there and the God in us.

The true men of God and saints are those who celebrate in all religions. Surely, with such men to strengthen the fabric of society, there will be more peace and with that more joy to the world.

The saints of the world like Ji Gong (济公) looks upon the world of men and beings as one and not divided as members of various religions and sects. Ji Gong (济公) looks after all.

We don't have to be Buddhists, Taoists, Chinese, Tibetans, Taiwanese or what have we before he helps and bless. That is the reality but some bigoted men think differently and that is not good.

Ji Gong (济公) is for God and like God and he is for peace for the world and for all - not just for certain or selected ones.

Lest you forget

Do not make the mistake of idolizing any man who tells you about the Word. He is in the same boat as you even if religion refers to him as a religious leader. Mere mention of a religious leader is as good as encouraging idolising of that man. Why must there be hierarchy in religion? Hierarchy is conventional but may end up as liability rather than a necessity or asset. There should be no caste or hierarchy system in religion. No one is to be considered above another in religion. A religious leader or follower is a servant to serve you and not a leader to be idolised. Do not put him on the pedestal and make a monster out of him.

MAY ALL BE WELL AND HAPPY

May all be well and happy. May they have peace. May our departed friends and kins be well, happy and have divine peace. The main writer wishes the best for all for those near and far. Our kins may be far when they had passed on to better lives but they are near though far. He remembers and wishes his parents Mr Siow Soo Koh and Mdm Tay Hung Siang, his uncles and aunties like Mr Tay Koon Huay, his cousins like Mr Tay Chong Sim and his friends like Mr Philip Png well and have abundance of life. May they be rich in spirit for without such ancestors, there will be no posterity - no us and no you and me. They have blessed us and we must blessed them in return forever and ever.
