THE PURPOSE IS TO SAVE SOULS. IT IS WAY BEYOND NORMAL GOOD WORK LIKE CHARITY AND WELFARE ACTIVITIES. NO ONE SHALL BE SAVED BY GOOD WORKS ALONE BUT BY MORE THAN GOOD WORK. THERE IS NEED TO BE IMBUED WITH THE BASIC DOCTRINE COMMON TO AND BEHIND ALL RELIGIONS AND SECTS. LIVE IN DOCTRINE. DOCTRINE IN LIFE IS PARAMOUNT.

The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Of sons of God and men

No 659 of Living Life Series 1

For God so loved the world that he sent not just one son but many so that men can be saved not just by the Word but also by grace.

That by believing alone, men will be with God and saints. This is what grace is all about. That by knowing the Word, men will know how to be at peace like God and saints. That is what the Word is for.

Knowing the Word is not enough. Men need to put it in practice.

But practising what is in the Word is indeed a long journey and often arduous. That is why there must be grace and by knowing God and heavenly saints, the journey is sweetened and made more pleasant.

God created the various heavens through his sons so that beings and men may have sojourn there to be blessed by divine grace to be more in the Word. For the Word is God. Heaven is not the end all but the beginning of all.

There are many many levels of Heaven beyond the initial level. Going to any of the first heavens is just the beginning but the beginning can be the end for many though only a means to the ultimate end. But what matters is peace of spirit within men and not the beginning or the end.

The true peace in men is the heaven that counts. Be like Ji Gong and Heaven is where Ji Gong is. He brings Heaven with him. He is a picture of peace and what matters he says is the heart and not what one does or what goes through his gut. His guts endears us and lights up the way.

This elaboration of truth of heavens and peace in men is the Inner Truth behind religions and that is realisable in all religions. It is what the good messenger of God Lord Bo Tien says since 1969 and is referred to as the God Knowledge which must be rekindled so that men of any or no religion the world over can be one in God through the sons or saints of God.

The Inner Truth is that simple but men are too complex to see the simplicity of truth. They are blinded by their worldly trappings and see not and know not what they do. They need the grace of God through the saints who came and will come.

Yet despite this, if men still fail to see and still fail God, God will never fail them even if they end up in Hell. Though they die to Earth and be in Hell, they will rise again to see the Sun and light of day. God never gives up though men may do so. Whoever says God is wrathful and unforgiving is all because they are still men and not saints.

Surely men of religions as men of God must take the cues from God and make good and in full measure the wondrous grace that God and heavenly saints bestow.

God is great but men in trying to ride on his greatness often leave a bad taste by misrepresenting him as wrathful and unrelenting. They do not do justice to God and his saints.That is always the problem.

Men end up making a mockery of his divine intentions and ever so often committing the ungodly in the very name of the lord God.

God never fails men though men may fail God even in the very house of the lord.He is ever God even to ungodly men. He even sends not just one and only one son but many. We too are his sons if we accept his grace and try to make good.

We can become his sons by making good in his grace and the sages are our brethren through thick and thin. All these we have because of the grace of God. The same blood of God runs through us as through the sages. Blood is thicker than water and this is true.

All regardless of religion or sects can lay claims to be rightful sons (and daughters) of God through his grace and through living in the Word here and now and not wait till kingdom come in the life after.

Men divide divide men in the name of religions and sects but God and saints don't and ever will not. This is the way of God and God's grace is not in one but in all religions. Men without religions but have godliness in them are not denied from the grace of God.

Lest you forget

Do not make the mistake of idolizing any man who tells you about the Word. He is in the same boat as you even if religion refers to him as a religious leader. Mere mention of a religious leader is as good as encouraging idolising of that man. Why must there be hierarchy in religion? Hierarchy is conventional but may end up as liability rather than a necessity or asset. There should be no caste or hierarchy system in religion. No one is to be considered above another in religion. A religious leader or follower is a servant to serve you and not a leader to be idolised. Do not put him on the pedestal and make a monster out of him.

MAY ALL BE WELL AND HAPPY

May all be well and happy. May they have peace. May our departed friends and kins be well, happy and have divine peace. The main writer wishes the best for all for those near and far. Our kins may be far when they had passed on to better lives but they are near though far. He remembers and wishes his parents Mr Siow Soo Koh and Mdm Tay Hung Siang, his uncles and aunties like Mr Tay Koon Huay, his cousins like Mr Tay Chong Sim and his friends like Mr Philip Png well and have abundance of life. May they be rich in spirit for without such ancestors, there will be no posterity - no us and no you and me. They have blessed us and we must blessed them in return forever and ever.
