No 1533 of Living Life Series 1
When we go to a temple, we must ask who are those who are chosen to lead. Is the choice by men through popularity or by God through divine ascent?
Well, what happens when divine ascent does not have the support of the people? Also who constitute the people? Often temple or religion has many devotees but few voting members.
If the membership is limited and manipulated by one or two opportunists, then how can temple or religion choose a leader that meets the wish of God?
But if God is talked about and not in direct communication, then how can a temple or religion know who is the leader. Often members are chosen by one or two who want to run the temple or religion and call the tune.
In Chinese culture, God communicates through possession of a man and speaks through him. But then, this too is subject to manipulation.
So what is the correct approach in any religion or temple?
Well, any approach is as good as another or perhaps as bad as another.
This in itself is the nature of life. We have to learn from life and try to be better than what we are from time to time.
Bo Tien 武天 teaches that we have to learn from the strengths and weaknesses of others in life. This is more so with religion.
It is not just on the big day of a temple or religion but for every day or moment in life. God is with us all the time and not just on the big day of the religion or temple.
(While there is no correct or wrong approach in religion, Bo Tien 武天 says that all must not use God's name in vain to go against the authority of the land.)
