The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

People though different can still live as one

No 1541 of Living Life Series 1

Men in religion want others to believe in what they believe, do what they do and give to them in the name of religion what they want these others to give. This is the norm for years and even in ancient times of old China.

This was how and will likely continue to be how religion will survive in this world. But this will alienate many who want to think and who also want to disagree.

Some are even able to show that they are right. Others do not understand and have doubts.

Doubts arise because they do not fully understand. Bo Tien 武天 said this to those in a temple and he added that once they understand they become even  more closer to those in a temple.

But there will always be differences in opinions and agenda of those who come to a temple or religion. Having different groups within a temple or different temples or sects within a religion is not at all wrong.

It would be unthinkable for all to think and do in one way. Try as religion might and even in the name of dogmas which must be accepted and not questioned, there will be people with various thoughts and ways. No one is correct or not correct.

Bo Tien 武天 says that what is correct is to accept that no one is saint as yet and even saint will allow people to be different and will want people to work together and yet be different.

No one group should exclude other groups and if this is accepted, there will be many in religion or in a temple. Isn't this the purpose of religion or of a temple - to bring more to be near to God or saint?

We need to accept that yin and yang is here to stay. There is need for people with differences to live together and work as one, be it in religion, in a temple or in society.

This is the yin yang perspective all should have and the balance of yin and yang augurs well for all. This Bo Tien 武天 did say.

Let there be many nations, races, religions and sects within a religion in the world. Let us rejoice and feel the joy of the festivities of all religions and of all nations.

This is the joy and peace that arise from acceptance of differences. The yin and yang must coexist and then there will be harmony and peace. People though different can still live as one.

They also complement one another in their strengths and add value to a temple, religion, nation and the world. This Bo Tien 武天 too wants all to know. This is a truth and truth is simple and yet not easy to perceive. Simple as it may be, many are blind to it and even if they are not blind to it, many have difficulty in effecting it, all because of "I thought."

The "I thought" is less in heaven and more in man on Earth. Those in heavens can live as one, though they may be different, of different religions and even of different emphasis even in the same religion, as well as of different sections of a heaven.

Surely men too can aspire to be more like them and have less "I thoughts." By so doing, they can create heaven instead of hell on Earth even before the afterlife.

All that is needed is to try to live as one and be assets to one another though different all may be. All who are different can complement one another. That is the spirit. Why impose our ways and thinking on others?

Accept others for what they are and learn from the lives of others so as to be better than whatever finite good all already are.

One day even those in heavens can rise above the differences and be one - omnipresent like God in nature, in life and even in heaven and hell to be blessings to all even those in hell.

Let us aspire to be everywhere and not just in heavens. The way to end up omnipresent is to start here and now. Let us live as one though different.

People though different can still live as one. Surely this is a simple step to take and anyone can do so - even a child. Truth is simple but difficult to perceive. We need just this little insight to see this truth in life.
