No 1548 of Living Life Series 1
A temple or a sect of a religion may be manipulated by a group of persons who take over or set up a temple or sect.
They may know less or have no worthy spiritual motive but want to impose what they want of the world on others.
Bo Tien 武天 says that they are like ants or insects attracted to the flower for nectar. What they could not get in the world outside a temple or a sect of a religion, they can do so by taking over a temple or setting up a new sect of a religion.
They are able to bring in the crowds but this can cause divides and have repercussions.
Bo Tien 武天 says that a temple is the people and if there is no truth and divine purity in people, the temple is just not a temple and the sect not just a sect of a religion but a mere extension of the world they want to have in the world but could not have.
They can have a world not possible in the world out there. This is not ideal but can still spin off some goodness and charity though there are not ideal for ultimate spirituality. But the wise may say that ultimate spirituality is really up to the individual. Don't you agree?
