No 1168 of Living Life Series 1
Many are waiting for their turn to be born as man. It is a blessing to be born as man or woman on Earth. Earth is in a way a heaven of sorts to those who cannot yet be in Heaven or to those in Heaven but must come down to achieve certain goals.
But the doors must be open for them to be reborn as humans. Humans hold the keys to the doors.
But caught up with worldly indulgence, they have not heed the call to procreate but instead go for family planning, morning after pill and abortions.
Many want small families and having children has become a minus point to comfortable worldly life.
They are not heeding the call of God and saints to create new life for those waiting to be born and to add to the life of those in family life.
They marry late and then still not keen at all to expand family life by having children. After some time, couples tire of each other's company, commit adultery and have marriages on the rocks.
Even if family life goes on without divorce, the lack of children means there is poor social support in old age. This is more so when grown up children want to indulge in life and become tied down to loans for car, homes of their own. They cannot give material or social support to parents.
This is all because the parents did not heed the divine call to procreate and give blessings for new lives. They did not fulfil the call of God to give more life and add to life.
There must be purity of marriage and family. There is the divine purpose to give life and add more lives.
But instead, humanity in worldly indulgence often ignore this call.
They choose to have no children or too few. This is denial of the divine call.
Some however are reckless. They have too many children and they cannot provide proper life to their children. The children end up having living hell on Earth. They may have come from hell or heaven but end up in hell and for those from hell they end up jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
Be good and pure. Be respectful to the divine call to give life, to add life and to bless new lives.
To do this, we must neither deny life nor be reckless by having too many lives.
With too many, we end up not being blessings to the lives that we procreate.
By not procreating, we deny life to those waiting to be born. They are sort of killed before they are born or end up being killed because of pills, family planning, abortions and the morning after pill.
We all want life. We too must give life. We must have blessed life. We too must be blessing to life we create.
Neither deny or be reckless. Only then there is life that is rewarding, peaceful and joy. If only we can live up to the divine plan to give and bless life, that will be good.
The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 points to the need to be atop the denial and excesses in life by neither denying life nor being reckless in having too many but becoming a liability and creating hell for lives that come our way.
Common sense or logic is needed. It is logical to moderate. This is Tao 道 and is in all religions.
The family man and woman can give life and be blessing to life even though they are no celibate monks or nuns. We need not be monks and nuns to give life and be blessing to lives.
Monks and nuns have higher calling. They guide beings to peace of spirit that lead to sainthood or enlightenment. How many can be monks and nuns?
The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 it is enough to be what we are and can be. Family life can be noble and we can achieve the highest good even in family life - even when we are no monk or nun.
Do not envy monks and nuns. They have no family but their congregation at the temple is their family. They have to attend to the many - for the good of the many and out of compassion for all.
Whether we are monks or not, there is need to give life and be blessing to life
