No 996 of Living Life Series 1
Where there is the heart for goodness and as long as there is faith in the belief that goodness is of God and saints, there is the temple. So in the whole wide world, men can find temples everywhere. In fact, the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that the whole wide world is the temple with the sky and heaven as the roof of the temple.
Religions are the pillars of this universal temple. All life is in the temple. The world and even the life we have are sacred and must be treated with respect.
Let us treasure life and all that are in this temple of the world. The world is the universal temple and is a sacred place. Treasure what we have however finite these may be and be sure that there will be more of goodness to come.
But keep to goodness and do not lust after what your neighbor has. This is so that we do not overstep the boundaries of goodness. We must keep to what is good for us.
Wanting more is good but insisting that we have more when we cannot have or not ready to have can be not good, more so in a sacred place of the universal temple of the world.
Be good, stay good and all will be good to the end. Be balance by not having too much good, not having nothing and by just having enough good. That is all there is to it in life to stay good more so in the temple.
Let not one pit a pillar against another pillar be it in the temples of men or in the universal temple. Pillars refer to religions in the universal temple. Pillars refer to men who have contributed to the making of a temple in the temples of men. Any temple cannot stand with any pillar less.
