The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

A saint is a Santa and not a demon

No 1329 of Living Life Series 1

A prophet or saint is often not what some believers make them out to be.  He is often meek humble and identify more with the have-nots than the haves. He moves around with the ascetics, beggars, fishermen and the workers.

He is loved and welcome by all - like Santa Claus. He is lovable and benign.

He does not impose or threaten. In fact, he often is the one who is threatened and belittled.

He is more empathetic and persuasive. He treats all alike, be they believers or not. He only wants to bring out the good in men.

Sad to say, men in their belief in him projects an authoritarian figure and tyrant out of him.

For example, children in a Buddhist school may be told that if they are lazy and don't study, Buddha will punish them. Some even say a saint will send non-believers and transgressors to hell.

Men see their ego in a saint and make the saint appear dominating, imposing and unable to stand up to the nonsense in men.

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that we should see in a saint the truth of goodness and not the ugliness of badness that is of many men.

The doctrine or truth is in his image. The image is the doctrine. This the good lord says.

A saint would even feel sorry for those in hell and even for demons who have gone wayward.

But the irony is that many men may end up making a demon out of a saint.

Do justice to saints. Do not make demons out of saints.

Santa Claus is a good example of what saints are. They give and are blessings to all.

Santa does not judge and punish. He wants people to be good and does not remove blessings but gives blessings.

Saints like Santa take all the trouble to bless everyone with gifts - even do not mind dirtying themselves in coming down into the lives of men - just like Santa coming down chimney of soot and burning embers.

A saint is a Santa and not a demon. He comes into the warmth and fireplace of our lives. The personification of the goodness of a saint through Santa is perhaps one of the greatest achievements of the world. Here comes Santa Claus....
