The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Seeing beyond the image of a saint or of the world

No 854 of Living Life Series 1

See beyond the image of a saint and what comes to mind will tell a thing or two on your level of spirituality, what angle you are coming from, how open you are in religious outlook and how insightful you are.

Ask yourself why you are like that and how you can move on further spiritually.

Often the image is a projection of our inner self, what we believe and what we don't want to believe.

God and saints can appear to us in any form. If you are a believer, you will be filled with awe.

God and saints can be out there and the whole world of nature is in the image of God and saints if you are a believer.

Is it any different if you see the image of God and saints in an image instead?

Are God and saints just in the world of nature or in the image?

Certainly they are with us but beyond the world of nature and beyond an image.

Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) adds another wholesome insight into the image. The Doctrine or Word is in the image. The image is the Doctrine or Word.

The Doctrine is in the world we live in. The world we live in is the Doctrine.

There is the gospel of life in the image that is way beyond the image.

There is the gospel of life in the world - a gospel that is in and yet beyond the world.

Likewise, we are what we are in body and flesh but we too are beyond body and flesh. We have more potential to be beyond flesh and blood. We appear to be of the five senses but aren't we more than that?

Isn't that why many meditate and want to be mindful and aware of what abounds and what is beyond?

But do start with the moment, the here and now...

Then we have peace here and now - never mind when we will have more of the here and now and the ultimate peace of God and saints.

We can be saint for the moment and hopefully for many more moments to come.
