The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

A friend like Ji Gong (济公) is hard to find

No 753 of Living Life Series 1

Ji Gong (济公) is indeed a friend like no other. He is a living Buddha but you would not even know he is one if you meet him and never know his name.

Though a living saint, he roams the streets of men and prefers the floor to the seat of a saint in a temple. He would rather be in the open than in the confines of a temple. He spends more time in the open to be with men and even all below heaven.

He would rather prefer we regard him as friend and commoner than revere him as a saint though indeed a living saint is he.

What matters he says is what goes through the heart and not what goes through the gut or what one does. This is so characteristic of such a man and a living saint of a man.

He shows no outward sign or behavior of a living saint. He is very much like a man but a saint at heart. He is every inch a saint but is not dressed as one. In rags and beggarly robes he come to men. He is indeed like no other saint.

He exemplifies what the bible says that the humble will be exalted and the exalted humbled. In fact, he would humble the arrogant so that they be humbled and be more good than before. He made the humble feel good and more provided. Such is Ji Gong (济公) - the man who is a living saint.

A friend like Ji Gong (济公) is hard to find. He comes uninvited. That is him alright. Just let him know you want him as a friend and he will be with you like no other saints, for he prefers to be a friend and a friend indeed he will be, never mind that he is truly a saint who prefers to be like a man like you and me.

He is a friend to one and all. You can call on him anytime and he too can call on you anytime as well - not just in this life, but in past and next life. What friends would be with you in lives past, present and future.

Ji Gong (济公) is such a friend like no other. A friend like Ji Gong (济公) is hard to find. How often can we find a friend who is a living saint?
