No 772 of Living Life Series 1
The good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) had said that a flower will attract ants coming to it for nectar. Blame not the flower for ants coming to it. The success of having a concrete temple is like the flower. But unlike the flower, there will be no ants but only men to come to the temple and add to its glory and good works.
However, the mission of a temple is to save souls not just through good works and charity but through living in doctrine that gives inner peace. This can be done through any religion, any temple and any house of God and saint.
If men from within a temple live not in doctrine and cannot have the peace, how can they be able to spread the mission to help others to have peace and to save souls. The good lord said that a temple is the people and not the concrete building.

If people cannot band together to be strong like the concrete pillar, then the temple of people will not stand but crumble and disperse like sand. There is no cement of doctrine to bring them as one to be like concrete. The true temple is the people.
Like any heavenly saint, his image at his temple too is made of wood. But he said that the doctrine is his image and in the image is the doctrine. If men of his temple or any temple cannot grasp the doctrine in the image, then he said the image will be lifted back to heaven.
In fact, this seemed to have happened even in his temple when members decided many years previously to burn the image to replace it with another all because there was a crack in its base. But whether this is significant depends on whether there is mission and temple of people with grasp of doctrine, living in doctrine and moving in unison with doctrine.
Whatever temples may be, whatever happens or whatever opinions or views there may be, what matters is that ultimately the universal temple, the good lord said is the universe or world with the sky or heaven as the roof of the temple, the religions are the pillars and all under heaven are in this universal temple.

No one outside and the world over can bring down a temple but if the finite group of men so blessed to form the temple of people cannot act as one, then that temple will be brought down not by people outside but by the very few men who are blessed to bring it up as a temple of people. This could happen in any temple even in a temple with the name of the good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) .
It is not the fault of the lord saint of that temple that such people in the starting core are like ants coming to the flower for nectar. Blame not the flower for insects coming to it.
Nothing is cast in stone or concrete and we must not judge men for what they are. The good lord says that the far may be near and the near far. Well, do not judge or be judged. Those who appear far, say from doctrine and mission focus on doctrine, may well be near and be the select ones. The far may be near and the near far. This too did the good lord say.
The good lord also said that, for any temple and in particular for his temple, a temple is always for all kinds of people and there is no select few. We need all shades and sizes of people to form the temple of people. We need yin and yang to come together as one.
He said that fire and water, like sunshine and rain, may be different but they can complement one another. We need cooperation of diverse interests groups - the coming together of yin and yang for wholesome outcome in any temple.
This must be there at ground zero but if it cannot come about, heaven will always be ready though men may yet be ready. The universal temple or mission must be realized and heaven is ready and cannot wait for men to be ready. Men may be tardy and may be shortsighted, lacking foresight.
Some are even headstrong but they may still be worthy of heaven and the lord. A man may be like an unpolished diamond that can be not appealing and even cutting at times but he is still a diamond.

This article applies to any temple or house of God and saints. A temple of the good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) is no exception.
For a house of God where there is no image or images, the doctrine or gospel is the image. Where there is an image, the image is the gospel or doctrine. It embodies the doctrine.
This can be understood from the messages of the good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). "The image is the doctrine and the doctrine is the image." This the good lord wants us to know.
For God sake, do not go to a temple to go head over heels over God, or a heavenly saint but go for the doctrine that God and saint stand for.
Do not just admire and cling on to the doctrine but put it into practice and live in the doctrine. Do not worship the doctrine but practice the doctrine.
God, any heavenly saint, the image if any and the doctrine are not all there in a temple for us to behold and cling on to but for us to know the doctrine or Word and let the doctrine come alive in us.
Then God, a heavenly saint, the image of God or saint, and the Doctrine that is of God and saint that is in the image are in us and we are with God, saint and the gospel that is God and saint.
Isn't that wholesome and wonderful to have and to experience in the very temple of a lord saint?
