The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Doubters may threaten those who think they know

No 1547 of Living Life Series 1

Bo Tien 武天 wants us to know. Doubts are good because doubts usually mean those with doubts do not understand. They may appear to disagree.

Sometimes even those who think they know cannot even clarify and they feel threatened. That is a big issue when it is supposed to be no issue.

They feel threatened because they are at a lost and if they are negative towards doubters, they feel challenged and will keep the doors shut for those who do not think the way they do.

But if they take things positively, they will regard these as good opportunities to know better.

That way they improve in their grasp of life and doctrine of life and can be of help to others and themselves. They will be better than what they are.

Bo Tien 武天 had stressed on the benefits that can arise from doubts and differences even though these may affect the social harmony and coherence.

These may cause storms in society of people in a temple. But storms do not last forever and calm will return. People will be more of one heart once they know life and truth better. Bo Tien 武天 said this, didn't he?

Doubts may threaten the ego of those who think they know and to defend their ego, they find fault with those who disagreed with them and raised their doubts and concerns. They rationalise when they insist that what they belief is enough and any more questions mean that the persons who pose the questions are not doubters nut out to create endless problems and to challenge them.

Doubts even if genuine may threaten those who think they know. The flaw is in those who are questioned more than in those who raise questions and concerns.

Well, that is life and that is what all will face in life, not just in religion. The root of the problem is because men who are imperfect think they are perfect. Even God never says he is perfect. Imperfection is the only perfection or constant in life.

This can be humbling to many who think they know more than others. But this should spur them to help others who know even less and push them further to know more than what they already know.

They should not feel threatened or challenged at all by those who have doubts or who think they are lacking in certain niches of knowledge.

Men who are knowledgeable can always learn from those who know who know much less or who know nothing. But they must first be humble enough to learn more, otherwise if they are conceited, they will be humbled instead.
