The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Did God create Hell if he is loving?

No 1223 of Living Life Series 1




What be on Earth so also in Heaven. This is a belief of old China during the day of the dynasties. 

 If the Emperor was unforgiving towards dissenters, so too would God above to those who did not toe the line. 

 Many who plotted against the Emperor would be beheaded. So too will those who are against God. 

 Satan is like the equivalent of the ruler of an enemy country. 

 Isn't this a wrong representation of what God is? God is kind, compassionate and forgiving. 

 God is like the father of children. Would a father disown wayward children, let alone hurt them? He won't but would regard them as prodigal sons. 

 Would God who created angels and men disown them just because they go wayward? While man's love can turn to hatred when spurned by his loved ones, will God's love be turned into hatred when spurned? 

 Where is the wisdom of love if there is hatred?  A loving father will accommodate and still have love for wayward children. God being God will accommodate even more and do what he can to win over and change those with transgressions. 

 There will be no bad feelings, only love for dissenters. We are lucky to have God and heavenly saints who are loving in every sense of the word. 

 The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 reminds us that in any religion, there is love. Loving kindness is behind all religions and is everything in religion and in life. 

Only with purity of mind free from wrong views, greed and hatred will love be complete. Loving kindness is everything to God. 

 God is kind to those against him and who wronged him. The greatest wrong is to think that God created Hell. It is men who created hell for others and for themselves. If God and saints have their way, there will be no hell either here on Earth, Heaven above or Hell below. 

 There is hell in Heaven because the likes of Satan want their way and think they can better God and saints. God and saints feel sorry for them and extend the olive branch to them. They are still in Heaven and referred unkindly as demons just because we are bias towards them. 

 God and saints even go down to Hell to bring a bit of Heaven to them. God and saints try to win those in Hell over to better ways - to the way of love goodwill and right views. God and saints help them to purify their mind and be loving like God and saints. God and saints help them to come out of Hell. 

 They are there in Hell not because God sent them there but because they sent themselves there with the fires of hatred, greed and delusions burning away in their spirit. God help them to douse the fires and purify the spirit to have calm and peace. 

 Only those who are burning with the fires of ego (greed), ill-will (hatred) and false views have no place to go to except Hell. They are already in hell even while on Earth. 

 There is need to douse the raging fires and not add fuel of ego, hatred and false views. 

 Obviously Hell is not created by God. If he is, then he has ill-will and is no God. That God is mean enough to create Hell is far fetched and a false view. 

 If men have hatred towards others and want the hell out of these others, don't for goodness sake think that this is the wish of God. How can God create Hell if he is loving? Don't make man out of God and a lousy man at that... 

 Don't justify hatred as good by misusing the name of God. Men can be ironical. Men want God to forgive them but expect God not to forgive others and even want God to send others to Hell. 

 Don't they too need to go to Hell themselves? Thank God that God is God and not man, otherwise all will be in Hell. 

 God wants man to be in his image but it is a different thing altogether if man wants God to be in his image. Wake up man and be like God even a little will do. Know who is God and who is man. God is no man and man is no God.
