No 1213 of Living Life Series 1
In man is the good and the bad. In man there is God and there is the Evil One whom some refer to as Satan.
Where is God and where is Satan? Both seem to be everywhere. Both have been portrayed as civil and wrathful.
How then to know one from the other? It would be difficult more so when it is said that Satan can take over the running of a religion and be mistaken as God. That is according to some men of religion who are fertile in imagination.
Both can help men. If help is by God, then this is a blessing. If it is from Satan taking the guise of God, then this is a deception - a ploy by Satan to undo the good done by God.
Is God so helpless as that? Certainly not. It is men who are lacking not God. How is it that if some good is done by those not good is taken as not at all good?
Like it or not the concept of God and Satan is more a projection of the minds of men. In fact, men think that Satan is not from Hell. In fact he is in lower Heaven with a retinue or army of angels of his own. Some refer to them as demons. Some say Satan and his demons all former angels was caste down from higher Heaven
Demons can reside in Heaven. It seems they are the better of the lot - perhaps better in vibrations. That is why they are with God in Heaven. Satan is a fallen archangel but he is still in Heaven though in lower heaven.
His dominions are both up there and below. Buddhists have an explanation for this.
Demons are those who have done good and bad. It is the bad that makes them demons but by virtue of the good they have done and if the good is good enough, they can be in Heaven. If not then in Hell. Unlike non demons in Hell, they are bestowed by virtue of good in past lives with powers which they usually misuse. Some can still make good.
In a way, we are no different. We have the good and the bad in us. If we are not good enough, we will be in hell - the lower abodes or if we are not that bad, we will be born with handicaps and poor lives on Earth.
If we are even more good enough, we will be born in good states in human realm and if even better in good and know how to be like God and saints and to like God and saints, we will be in Heaven.
But so long as there is the bad in us, even if in Heaven, we can be downgraded and be no longer in Heaven. But if past good is good enough and the bad grows in us, we can hang on in Heaven and be demons in Heaven or if of lower potential in past good, we will be in Hell as demons endowed with powers.
Demons have powers because of the good they have in the past but they make use of them in the bad way. As said, if their good in past is good enough, even if they are not perfect, they can be Heaven and that is an achievement of sorts.
Aren't those in Heaven good enough in the eyes of God to be there? Why must men judge even those in Heaven and say that some are demons? Let us just say that we must help them to be better. In a way they are already better than us. They are in Heaven though some say at its fringe and even want to help us though we may doubt their motive.
Ultimately both God and Satan are in us and outside us. Some say we are both God and Satan. Is God misunderstood and Satan maligned? Some don't even want to give credit where credit is due.
They say we only look up to God and not even the good angels and saints. Did God say so or is it men that say so? Well the devil is not in Satan but in men. Men play God and Satan and often maligned even God.
You can say that we are two in one. This is because while we do good, we may not have the good basis for doing good. But good will always add on to our merits even if done without good motive.
If the bad motive is predominant but the good we do is still good for others, we will still be in Heaven but be heavenly demons or if of lower grade, we will still be demons with powers but in Hell.
Demons in Hell usually give hell of a life to those in hell and above hell. They may appear to be helpful and a boon but they create more desires and wants in us. But then why is the good they do really not good?
With wants especially excessive, there is no inner peace. Without inner peace we will be far from God and saints. Perhaps this is part of the answer.
We must clear our mind from the clutter of wants and be pure. Then we will have inner peace and be godly. We need to develop this inner peace over time.
This is behind all religions. All religions are one in God. This is the message of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨. The good lord wants all to realise this and cultivate the inner peace in whatever religion we are in. We must be better in being good at what we already are. So do stay in whatever religion we are in but just be better. If need be change religion.
