The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

The joy of the beginning and the end

No 731 of Living Life Series 1

Year end and year beginning like sunset and sunset will always be filled with joy and cheer with Indian, Muslim, Western and Lunar New Year and more. It is time to rejoice, never mind who we are and where we come from.

Year end is the time when Christmas is coming and a time for celebration for one and all .

Santa sets out early way before December. Wait for him and he will still make it in time for X'mas to descend in the chimney of life to bring gifts for one and all regardless of faith and affiliation. That is why Christmas is for all.

Christmas bells ring on 25th December to herald not just X'mas but also a Happy New Year on 1st January.
And Lunar New Year is next
and the God of Wealth can't wait till then to bestow joy and cheer. He is in a way the Chinese equivalent of Santa but Santa is different in the sense that he is based on the historical Saint Nicholas.

The end and the beginning, they say, be it life or year will always be momentous and ever with a "BANG"

so loud and clear to herald the time for joy and cheer never mind if it is Christmas, Chinese New Year or whatever in store for one and all in all the realms we know and not know. Well, do find a reason to cheer at this time of the year.

Let us toast to the joy of the beginning and the end of every journey be it the journey of life here and now or in the life hereafter, be it for the year in question or for the year hereafter. There is always somehow the joy in the beginning and the end even for the most pessimistic and ill-fated of men.

Let the celebration of life be for every beginning and every end. It is already an achievement to begin and an achievement to be at the end. God and saints rejoice with us as well for every beginning and every end.

But please don't drink if you cannot drink. Still we can toast to one another for more beginnings and more ends, for more of the good years or more better years to come with sparkling juice even if hard liquor we cannot have.

No need to whine about wine or what have we. Cheers.
