The Four Pillar Message of Lord Bo Tien is very clear and crisp in specifying that all religions are right and serve their respective roles.
But man will always have the choice and personal opinions and perspectives. What is good for one man may not be as good for another. The views of a man may not count for another. Thus if we depend on others too much and not make up our minds, we will be perturbed.

But man will always have the choice and personal opinions and perspectives. What is good for one man may not be as good for another. The views of a man may not count for another. Thus if we depend on others too much and not make up our minds, we will be perturbed.
Even the vocal and socially acclaimed views of a man in the same religion as us may not coincide with our personal views. This does not mean we are wrong even if that man is the pastor or priest.
But for purpose of evangelizing, it is necessary to be forceful and to insist that there is only one view. Again, not all would agree and the views of a religion depends very much on the beholder.
So if we are different in outlook and views from the many vocal in the very house of God, do not be ruffled but have confidence. Spirituality has to do with our personal bond and union with God and saints. We should hold on to that and not let others sway us and impose their views on us. That will be fertile ground for cult.
At the same time, it is also true that one must not impose one's views and interpretations on others though one can share with others at opportune times. But at no time should one scoff and scorn at others for their views and interpretations.
There is therefore that delicate balance relating to how we handle our personal views on religion and the differing views of others, be they of the same religion or of different religions. Wisdom is needed and the respect for oneself and for others must be the guiding principle.
Let there be peace and harmony in this world and this must begin with the individual - ourselves. Everything begins with us, be it in religion or otherwise.
Our views and ways matter, so also are the views and ways of others. Mutual respect must hold sway so that all can have more of peace and the glory that is of God and saints, be it in spiritual or mundane matters.
