The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

No second thoughts on medium-ship 童乩 ...

No 672 of Living Life Series 1

Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) is a wonder to behold. He had done the unthinkable. He made use of medium-ship (trancing) in a Beo Keng (Chinese temple) to make himself known to the world and what he made known is not who he is but why he is here since 1969 - more importantly why he is not in favor of any particular religion or sect or starting any new one. He is for all religions.

He is all about doctrine that was already known in the past but buried away like relics by archaeological layers of added thoughts and practices such that men today know only the religious practices and behavior but not the good grasp of the inner truth behind and across religions.

In the first place, it is already unthinkable that the good lord even thought of harnessing medium-ship (trancing) to achieve the reawakening or rather the resurfacing of the basic inner truth behind all religions when religions generally regard it as wee bit sort of fake and farce.

As one sociology academic did put it, "Medium-ship (trancing) is after all theatrics and theatrics is medium-ship (trancing)."

Even at a temple in the name of the good lord, medium-ship (trancing) is treated with doubts, skepticism and men are dubious about it. Most would rather show they have no faith in trancing though they were  in fact passionate with it and might have benefited from it in the past.

But surely without medium-ship (trancing), we will never know of Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) and without it, there will be no revelation of the teachings and the push for the mission to save souls through any religion we have in this world. Yet men at ground zero and even pioneers who benefited from medium-ship (trancing) do still feel somewhat reluctant as such to acknowledge whatever gains and blessings medium-ship (trancing) has brought to them.

The good lord says that we must "see man as man and heavenly saint as heavenly saint". "See not the saint in man and the man in saint."

This is so obvious and clear but men due to pride of ego want to have nothing to do with mediums partly because of the many tales of bad experience with it. But is their judgement better than the good lord who had no qualms using medium-ship (trancing) to insert the mission and the doctrine to the world on behalf of Heaven?

Let men reflect and make amends if they have erred and perhaps misconceived. Men of the lord must not be ashamed of the history of the divine mission but must regard what happened, medium-ship (trancing) and all, as simply awesome and eye opener.

Without medium-ship (trancing), there will be no mission, no divine messages from the lord and no resultant Living Life Series in the world wide web.

So men of the lord should not be embarrassed and aghast of the medium-ship (trancing) past of the mission. We should not write off medium-ship (trancing) just like that.

The good lord did say that there will be medium-ship (trancing) in the first cycle of thirteen years but he never said that it is wrong to have medium-ship (trancing). What he wanted us to know know is that he had given us the messages and the universal doctrine for us to work on and activate the mission world wide like the ocean to many a shore. There is then no further need for him to speak through medium-ship (trance).

Mind you, he never said medium-ship (trancing) is in bad taste. In fact, he made use of medium-ship (trancing) as vehicle for inserting his mission to the world.

Some men of the lord somehow like to double talk and in the end, they end up ridiculing themselves as well. What jokers these men can be. God forgive them for they know not what they do.

Men must know better and not be ashamed of their roots. How odd can it for them to denounce their roots as of the devil when even the good lord utilized it in good measure for the benefit and welfare of the many.

The late Philip Png in trance of the good lord Lord Bo Tien with Elder Ling Diung Kwong in attendance standing and in white. Without medium-ship (trancing), there will be no doctrine and no mission. So is there the need to say that it is in bad taste? Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) has shown that many are not in the know. They are men after all. He adds thus with regards to medium-ship. "Man is man and saint is saint. See not the saint in man and not the man in saint." Thus said the good lord.

Those were the days. Nowadays one wonders
where are the pioneers on Mission Day.
The ravages of time have taken its toll.
Of a truth this does not need to be told.
A new generation is in place
and need our support.
