No 1039 of Living Life Series 1
Who is more important Man or God? If the answer is Man, something is wrong somewhere? If the answer is God, then God has been misunderstood. Do not underestimate God. Do not see God as man. He is not out for recognition. He never claims to be what have been attributed to him.
What then is more important for men to focus on in life when everything that man wants don't seem to last and what man thinks don't seem right? What men want seem to be means to the end of life.
What is that in life we are going for ultimately? In fact it may be nothing of this world or the next. The so-called end ends up as the means. That is why religions being man-made but motivated by God and saints seem to differ in the ends or goals. The goals just simply turn out to be the means to more ends.
We insist that religions are different but how sure are we? Religions seem to contradict but in contradiction, they meet the varied needs and culture of the people in this world. What is of this world and of the next and there after are of the world of contradictions, of the ups and downs and that is the problem.
This is in line with the fact that the problem of the world are many and plentiful. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says.
The only constant in the world we know and in the world hereafter is change and without change, there is no life. The answer lies not in not having life. Without life, we will not be around.
The ultimate solution lies in having the unchangeable inner peace come what may. Life may move on and change but our spirit of inner peace come what may must be unshakable. There must be the will to stay at peace and have this joy of peace even when the sky drops and nothing seems right.
But the truth is that when nothing seems right, we are actually blind to the many little blessings of life we take for granted. The little blessings are actually big blessings.
The most important of these is that we are alive. As long as we are alive, we have time to arrive at more of the peace of the spirit we should have.
Even if death comes calling, be calm and stay in one piece more so in spirit for life just takes another form. This is just like one breath moment takes another breath moment. Why is there for fear and alarm. Just take things in our stride and stay on course for more peace.
This does not mean we be listless and don't move on in worldly life. We must move on and improve but we must be realistic and pragmatic. We must strike a balance with the odds and challenges of life.
Know what are the must have, what are good to have and what we cannot have. See the reality of the moment and keep the peace . Do things to keep the peace.
But do not think you can run away from life to keep the peace. Life will catch up with you and you will have no peace. This is the logic or way the sages refer to as Tao 道. Have Tao 道 and keep the peace with life. Do not battle life or be defeated by life.
Do not be afraid to make mistakes along the way. Have no guilt. Mistakes make the man. Guilt kills the man in spirit and stifles peace. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 speaks out against guilt. God and saints do not want us to have guilt. Let not guilt cow us and defeat us in whatever way.
Don't use God and saints name in vain to cow others. That is not the Way. That is not logical. That is no Tao 道. Remember that man is man and God is God. God is no man and man is no God.
Remember Tao 道 is common sense after all - nothing magical but very down to earth yet divine. Common sense and goodness is present in all religions. All religions are one in Tao 道. This is the message of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨.
Common sense dictates that we battle not life nor be defeated by life to have the inner peace. All religions are for this in their respective ways. God and saints have the common sense to allow many choices of religions and sects. We can even do without one.
But please feel free to believe that what we believe is best for us and those near and dear to us. We must be better at what we already are. The mission of the good lord is to make us better at the religion or belief system we are in.
Conversion or coercion is not the only solution to realize this. It may be counter productive - better be good at existing religion than be poor in the new one. Some do benefit though and this is for real.
Be free to believe in what we want to belief. Do just be better at this and be logical about it. Do take off in common sense and be free like the dove. Common sense is what sages refer to as Tao 道 in old China.
