No 1029 of Living Life Series 1
Belittle not the man who has done wrong for he has done good too.
The man who through thick and thin bring up a temple so strong too need not be fawned for he has weak points that can bring a temple to its knees.
The bottom line is not to worship man. Man is not worthy of worship. Even God and saints who are worthy of worship would rather that men not worship them but just know the Word they stand for and live in the Word.
Then God and saints would come to live in flesh as that man. But God is not the man nor the man God they say. Man is man and God is God. What more need be said?
See the man from God and God from man. Isn't that what we are told time and time again?
But man is ever like that and see himself more like God than man. Oh, how he will swell in the head and no longer be well to lead others and pastor the flock.
That is the fate of many a temple we have on Earth. How can there be peace on Earth even if peace there is in Heaven above?
But let it be, let it be. This is ever the fate of men. Man often dig his own grave and as long as he has not arrived, always he will go from cradle to grave or at best be cremated than be created anew they say.
Man, man when will you learn and be still so as to have the peace all the way to the end and even beyond. That would be the day they say.
But instead men go to a temple to create hell of a noise and they call this heavenly and exhilarating. They find noise and din a welcome for their senses and say that this is how they can be with God above.
To them, the hell they created is heavenly and the traditional peace and quiet they used to have with God is like the cemetery. What have become of men today?
When indeed there is peace and quiet in a temple or church, be sure that those who prefer hell of action and noise will drift away. They cannot face God in divine silence and peace. They prefer hell of the din and noise instead.
If a temple or church is deserted and its portals quiet and forlorn beckoning for men to come, men just simply stay away. They want the din and noise of Earth and Hell than the quiet and peace of Heaven above.
The figure of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 cuts an imposing figure of quiet and peace for us to still our mind and have clarity of life. This is what we need and not the hell of the noise and action we find today. What are men up to with all the noise and din, God and saints will say? Isn't that not at all heavenly and more like partying all the way?
