The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Welcoming the new moment with inner peace

No 1060 of Living Life Series 1

Every moment gives rise to a new moment and we are often not excited about this.
But when there is birth of a new life, we are excited. But then, this too is about having a new moment. The death moment of the immediate past life gives rise to the new momentous moment of a new life.

A new life is a gift of God in many religions. Every new life is like the gift of baby Jesus to the family.
Then again, there is the new year. The old moment of the last moment of the year gives rise to the new moment of the new year and there is cause for celebration.

Well, in fact we need to celebrate and treasure every new moment in life and not while the time away as though we have all the time in the world. The world can wait for us. That is how we think.

But life too cannot be about rushing to do as many things as we can. It is about making full use of the moments to create better moments.

It is about clearing routines and not leaving it to the next moment. It is about having inner peace while doing things in the moment and readying ourselves for the next moment.

For this, we must not let go of life nor cling on to life and be troubled. Life is just the means to the end and the end is just the peace we want in life.

Peace is not idleness. Peace has to do with purposefulness in a quiet and calm way so that the process is as rewarding as the end result.

We must begin each moment with inner peace, live in the moment with peace, end the moment with peace and start the next moment with peace.

To have this, we must know ourselves. We must find the balance. We must know our resources and capabilities. We must balance between doing nothing and doing too much.

We must not waste away life. We must not be at the mercy of life. We must not rush around and be overwhelmed and lose our inner peace.

There must be that mindful balance as depicted by the feet of the lord saint Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 balancing the elements. This they say in days of old is yin yang balance.
The white marble image of the good lord is a picture of inner peace and steadfastness for inner peace come what may. Inner peace is what we need.
