No 1051 of Living Life Series 1
Lord Bo Tien's 武天菩萨 message on the oneness in basic truth of religions is worthy of the world and beyond. The temple of the good lord is too small a place for his doctrine.
The message is non partisan and is for the world. The basic doctrine will bring out the better awakening of men through their respective religions.
Yes, the good lord's doctrine is worthy of the world and beyond, and his temple is too small a place for his doctrine.
But we still need the temple as reference and historical point to show that it is like any other temple and needs doctrine to be better than what it is.
So if indeed there are shortcomings in the temple, well, these just go to show what the good lord says is right on the dot.
His temple demonstrates the need for doctrine and since the temple is the people, people need to be better in whatever religion or doctrine they are in. This is the mission.

Men of the lord need to be better as people of the temple and of the wider society. Mission after all is for all to be better at what they are.
It is as simple as that but yet profound. It is not easy to perceive when men are carried away by the ways of the world.
As the good lord says, people coming to any temple of any religion may become like insects coming to the flower for nectar. Blame not the flower.
There is need to awaken men to the doctrine basic and common to all religions so as to make them better at what they are meant to be. This basic doctrine becomes diluted and buried after the passing of the founders and pioneers when each successive generation added their two cents worth to attract the crowd.
Over centuries the traditions and add-on of worldly nature added in layers become predominant. People end up focusing on having worldly nectar through of all places a temple.
Religion becomes like archaeological grounds for the more serious and wise to dig into to get at the basic truth common to all religions. The good lord provides the basic truth first hand to all regardless of religions or sects. That way they can be better at what they are.
