Religious labels do not do justice to those who believe in all saints. To say that they are buddhists because they are followers of Buddha is not exactly correct, for they too are followers of Jesus, Hindu gods and Taoist deities. Religious labels give wrong impressions. They are man-made.
If a person is a Buddhist just because he follows the teachings of the Buddha, then he too is a Taoist, Christian and Hindu if he is follower of the saints of these religions. But that is odd and not in keeping with convention of the West.
To say that he can only be this or that and not believer of all religions, is narrow minded and not in keeping with reality. To believe in all means to believe in the saints of all religions. It means to be discerning on what to believe and not to believe in everything.
In keeping with this, temples integrate the beliefs in all saints. Temples like the heavenly saints are for all and not religion bias. The notion that a temple is a Buddhist temple, a Taoist temple or a Christian one is not doing justice to the temple.
It is the West who somehow likes to alienate temples by labelling it temples of a specific religion. This is so that they can showcase the need to give up one religion and go for another. Where there is really no religion, where is the need? All that needs to be done is to add on and enlarge the best practices of the followers of the heavenly saints.
Temples and saints are for all. We should refrain from using religion to divide and cause dissension among men. The picture below is better than a thousand words. There are many ways and many temples men can approach God and goodness. This is the message of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨.
Mind you, the good lord is not the latest of saints nor the saint to replace other saints. He is here to let us be close to our own saint and to all saints.
Even a temple built in his name is not just for him but for all saints and for all religions. It will go the way of all temples - no different and may not even focus directly on the mission to show oneness of religions and beliefs but will absorb all beliefs.
That alone will authenticate the good lord's message albeit an indirect one though many just go along but never even give even a second thought on his message. All they want is to have good and be good. That is enough but yet not so. The good lord did say the near may be far and the far near. But near and far is the same yet not so.
Men in trying to please God end up pleasing themselves and often cause displeasure to God and saints. God and saints don't really mind but the problem is that men may be worse off. That is their concern.
Temples and saints are for all and not for narrow interests or agenda of men. Men may have agenda but not God and saints. The use of label religion may not at all be a good idea. It divides not only men in name of God and saints but also God and saints. Give this some thought.
To upkeep the message that temples and saints are for all, the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 taught us this universal prayer.
To all heavenly saints we greatly adore. We believe in your existence and thy glory is in the thought of men. We seek for thy protection and guidance so as to live better for the time to come.
