A BO TIEN (武天) MISSION INITIATIVE LAUNCHED ON 28TH SEPT 2010 BY INNER TRUTH NETIZEN 2. THE MISSION IS TO SHOW THE WAY TO HOPE, INNER PEACE AND ULTIMATELY SALVATION FOR ALL BEINGS. THE PURPOSE IS TO SAVE SOULS. IT IS WAY BEYOND NORMAL GOOD WORK LIKE CHARITY AND WELFARE ACTIVITIES. NO ONE SHALL BE SAVED BY GOOD WORKS ALONE BUT BY MORE THAN GOOD WORK. THERE IS NEED TO BE IMBUED WITH THE BASIC DOCTRINE COMMON TO AND BEHIND ALL RELIGIONS AND SECTS. LIVE IN DOCTRINE. DOCTRINE IN LIFE IS PARAMOUNT.

The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Idolising God or saint attract the worst to religion

No 1459 of Living Life Series 1

While we want to be with the crowd, we must not flow blindly with the crowd on what they think and do. We cannot let others do the thinking for us.

We have to think for ourselves and do what is right without trying to right the wrong in others when they are so fixed in their own way.

We must not upset or upstage them. We do not want them to upstage and upset us.

We want to be right and be at peace with ourselves and learn to be at peace with others even if they are wrong and think they are right.

If we can do so, that is good and we are like God, Saint or Prophet who is at peace with many who are wrong but still make use of his name.

If we are not ready for this, then we can choose to be with those who are not so wrong and who can accept us to think and be different from them. Most of us are in this situation.

Do not try to be with the sharks when we are not ready. Better to be with the other fishes who allow us to be different from them and would not threaten or devour us.

God or any saint can stand tall among the misinformed and deluded. We are not anywhere near their level of inner peace. We can however be with those who can accept us for being different and do not insist we do and think what they think and do.

We don't need to be the richest persons and the most powerful to be of help to others. God too need not be awesome and powerful before we want him to help us.

What would God think of us if we go to him because we think he is the greatest? He would have a poor impression of us, wouldn't he?

We can get help from all saints and even men even if they are not the richest, greatest and the creators of all that were and will be.

We must not turn down help from sincere sources just because the helpers are not the greatest and the richest. If we do that and go for help from the greatest or the seemingly greatest, that will reflect badly on us.

We effectively look down on many who would otherwise be assets to us. We will end up isolated and lonely and be in a world of our own and not with the big wide world at large.

What would God think of us? Surely he will have not good impression of us and will be disappointed with us.

Many are those who go to religion like insects to a flower for nectar. That is why we may find such people in religion and they often upset us rather than please us and we will end up with no peace.

We are of no value to them and are liabilities instead of assets. They say we are welcome but effectively they do not welcome us if we cannot add value to their lives. There is a lot of pretension and false front.

The above again is motivated by the inner peace message of Bo Tien 武天 that is in life and in all religions. But insects and ants do come to a flower for nectar, so said Bo Tien 武天.

Idolising God or saint attract the worst to religion. Many will only go to God if they think he is creator and most powerful.

That is idolatry. Men has great fantasies of their idols be they humans or otherwise and think the world of them and think they are everything that is and they their idols can do all. They spin untruths to truth and distort the truth about God and saints.

Lest you forget

Do not make the mistake of idolizing any man who tells you about the Word. He is in the same boat as you even if religion refers to him as a religious leader. Mere mention of a religious leader is as good as encouraging idolising of that man. Why must there be hierarchy in religion? Hierarchy is conventional but may end up as liability rather than a necessity or asset. There should be no caste or hierarchy system in religion. No one is to be considered above another in religion. A religious leader or follower is a servant to serve you and not a leader to be idolised. Do not put him on the pedestal and make a monster out of him.

MAY ALL BE WELL AND HAPPY

May all be well and happy. May they have peace. May our departed friends and kins be well, happy and have divine peace. The main writer wishes the best for all for those near and far. Our kins may be far when they had passed on to better lives but they are near though far. He remembers and wishes his parents Mr Siow Soo Koh and Mdm Tay Hung Siang, his uncles and aunties like Mr Tay Koon Huay, his cousins like Mr Tay Chong Sim and his friends like Mr Philip Png well and have abundance of life. May they be rich in spirit for without such ancestors, there will be no posterity - no us and no you and me. They have blessed us and we must blessed them in return forever and ever.
