The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

The irony that is in religion

No 1258 of Living Life Series 1

Surprisingly sometimes the most religious of men may not be in a religion and a house of God. He has gone beyond religion and a house of God and saints cannot hold on to him.

Such persons are found in greats like the Buddha and Jesus. Both are non-conformists in their days. But both are no failures. They stood out as saviours to bring out the rightness in men - more so in religion and in a house of God. They are great.

It is equally surprising that sometimes though often rarely, the most criminal or worst of men can be found in a religion or house of God. They may even preach with zesto and project a haloed image. No one would doubt that. Religion cannot be without them. It is however unthinkable to think the good ones have the dark side. Often, they don't.

They are few and rare. But they are often great at moving hearts and souls. But these rare few may sadly be adulterers, sex perverts and financial manipulators - cheaters of money. Who would ever imagine that among the ones so good at the pulpit, a rare few may be like that? if they are, who made them like that? They stain the good name of the good.

It is the rare few black sheep themselves but made worse by the fervent and wild adoration by the crowd or congregation. This echoes what the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that at times the near may be far and the far near. Ironical this may seem but there is truth in this. But do not generalise and be unfair.

To keep clear of such upsets, go not for men in religion. Go not even for God and saints. Go for the teachings the truth that God and saints stand for. No amount of adoration will work better than grasp and practice of the truth of life that God and saints want us to know.

Know truth and know God better and more wholesomely that way. Truth is what we go for, not God and saint, what more the image of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨. God and saints love us more that way. The Word is God. God is the Word.
