The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Tears are prayers too....

No 577 of Living Life Series 1

"Tears are prayers too. They travel to God when we can't speak." Psalm 56.8. Because of grief, the man is unable to speak out and reach out for help. He is just dead lost, speechless and unable to take the next step. Tears are words the heart can't say.

The praise verse in the Bible tells us how great Jesus is and that like the many saints in the world including of course the pure ones and the Buddhas, he ascribes to the principle of loving kindness and compassion. He speaks of a loving God and himself as "God the son".

God and saints will hear the cries of men, even if men in grief do not cry out in prayer to God. God and saints are not deaf and dead to the problems of men and will help men in pain.

But just because they appear silent and men do not see them, this does not mean they have no heart for men. They have given the word and they will live by the word that they will help those in need.

But there is the element of fate which men must at times try to understand. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien did say and he is echoing the views of God and all saints.

But have heart, he says that big problems will become small problems even if they cannot become no problems if men keep their faith and if men keep to the Word - the teaching of God and saints.

Lord Bo Tien
The Word is in his image
with feet balancing
the elements of life

The Word is Tao. It is the understanding of life and nature,  that life tends towards change and change can disappoint and bring us to tears of grief and joy. Joy too can disappoint and bring grief when the joy comes to grief - to an end when men want it to last.

The man of God and saints is beyond joy and grief when he is able to have peace and purity of heart come what may - amid the yin and yang, the ups and downs out there and within him.

Cultivate this inner peace by living in the Word or Tao. The Word is the gift of God and saints.

But alas while men are new to Tao and yet to reap the fruits of Tao or The Word, he is still at the mercy of the upheavals of life. He can ask for the hand of God and saints and be sheltered by them. This as Lord Bo Tien says will shelter enable men to weather the storms of life. He reassured that storms do not last forever and will give way to calm seas.

But don't wait for the perfect moment to seek divine shelter and to cultivate Tao or The Word. Take the moment and make it perfect somewhat by seeking divine shelter and living in the Word - the gift of God and saints.

To the wiser ones, life is the balance of holding on and letting go but to the more adept at Tao, it is neither of both. Well, isn't that in a way splitting hairs? Well what matters is how to have peace without running from life or being saddled down by life.

It is not easy to be exact as such. It is about going about life placidly and be at peace while engaged with life in meaningful way. Then we can have less of tears of grief and joy but more of inner peace. Life is about seeing through life so that we can be like the saints - the enlightened ones.

For this, we can do so through any religion as any religion will do. Some can do so and be at peace even without religion. This is just common sense but some think common sense is wrong and that is a problem as well, isn't it?

That is why men even of same religion do differ in views and more would be expected across religions. The basic Word common to religions and that gives peace if men lived in the Word don't seem to be the same. This is because of men and not God and saints.

This is why Lord Bo Tien did set out in 1969 in the mission to save souls not through new religion or sect but through existing religions and sects - by simply enabling insight that all are one in truth of the Word. This will enable men in their lives through their respective religions to put them on the path to save souls - their own as well as those of others.

"The Word is his image and the image is the Word"

Peace of the dove or Holy Spirit
Isn't it Tao?  When we have peace,
we can fly like the dove
and not be affected by yin and yang
by being with though above yin and yang
With respect to inner peace of Tao or Word, do also reflect on the quote below:-

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:4 KJV Bible
