There is always something uncanny about the relationship between a human follower of Ji Gong The Living Buddha and the saint himself. It has to do with the way Ji Gong prefers to relate to men as though he is a man.
He rather we relate to him as though he is at our level and will often respect us - even look up at us if we have that bit of righteousness of and goodness of heart. But one interesting point is that often from out of the blue, he will appear to a man either in dream or in vision. Also, he will suddenly come to a man through trance in any place and intervene to give advice and blessing.
This is him alright and this has to do with relationship or affinity from past lives. He always says that if there is affinity, he will come into the life of a man.
It is not just a one way traffic type of relationship but two way. This is as though he is man and it is about man to man networking.
Often he may spill the beans - the so called secrets of Heaven. He may say that in previous life, he was overseeing that man and will oversee him again this life and even in the next.

If you are that man, you may be given the hint that you were with him in Heaven and he was looking after you. You were also helping him in his saintly work. You will get the impression that he urged and sent you down to Earth as man to continue spiritual cultivation.
Why didn't you stay on in Heaven to do so? Well, your guess is as good as anyone else. Perhaps, it is because life as man is short and life as man afford much more opportunities to face the ups and downs, the vicissitudes and the contingencies that life as man present in just a very relatively short life span compared to the seemingly endless and often monotone life in Heaven.
In Heaven, there is hardly any such experiences and the learning opportunities are far between. Often the saintly ones would turn their attention to those outside Heaven or to their following in Heaven.
Many a saint like Ji Gong would send their flock for intensive short courses on Earth. Ji Gong will not fail his flock who come to Earth to learn and to serve, that is to serve and be served by him for the benefit of one and all.
Give this some thought and treasure that special relationship with Ji Gong. If you are not in such a relationship but wants one, go to him and seek him out. Seek and ye shall find him not just in a temple but most likely anywhere on the roadside or under a tree.
The opportunities are one too many for he is benevolent and compassionate. He wants you as a friend and not in his capacity as a god or saint. He wants a man to man relationship though he is every inch a saint. But he does not act like one.
He eats meat, drinks wine but is ever pure and true at heart - true to heart and true to the goodness for all men, even men who have erred and yet to mend or have started to bend and mend. This is the Ji Gong we can feel and have in life as a friend and he is no man but yet both man and saint to those who know him.
His axiom is a universal one. What matters is what goes through the heart and not what one does outwardly or what goes through the gut. It is the heart that counts and not the outward performance to impress men.
Sometimes men can con and impress other men through outward show. Be like Ji Gong and be of heart to yourself and to others. Do not con yourself and others. Then you can continue with special bond with saints like Ji Gong. Be true to heart and that is the only way for spirituality. There is no other way.
Ji Gong has no preference or dislike for beans though this post spills the beans on Ji Gong. Hope the beans that are spilled meet your taste. Cheers and be with Ji Gong today and every day by just trying to be pure at heart.
"Blessed are the pure at heart for they shall see God." Isn't this one of the eight beatitudes at the Sermon of the Mount?
Isn't this the same as the principle that Ji Gong holds closely to his heart. "What matters is what goes through the heart and not what one does and what goes through the gut." Those who knows this knows and sees God and saints like Ji Gong.
This is one sure way to have affinity with Ji Gong - by trying to be pure at heart and not put up an impressive front but not as good or worse still rotten at heart.

It is not mere coincidence but actually evidence of concordance that Lord Bo Tien says that the doctrine is in his image and the image is the Doctrine. This would be the same as saying that "The Word is God and God is the Word."
The doctrine is the same and resonates in the teachings of all saints. This is the truth and the beans must be spilled on the common truth underlying and behind the teachings of all saints and prophets.
Lord Bo Tien is the messenger of Heaven to bring to the hearts of men this truth and he refers to it as the Inner Truth behind religions. That way all in their respective religions will be stronger at heart in their respective faiths.
Do do things with heart and be pure at heart. Ji Gong is a shining example of one with heart for the pure and good in life. It is said that he would even burn a wooden Buddha image to keep his disciples warm in winter.
Won't he spill the beans and touch on the secrets of Heaven to help men whom he set out to help or who have affinity with him? He is more a friend than saint to men though every inch a saint and a buddha in his own right.
