No 1360 of Living Life Series 1
The good Bo Tien 武天 commented that it is easy to flow with the current downstream but what we get is polluted water. Yes there is water but polluted.
What we need is pure water. It is way more difficult to go upstream to the upper source for clear water.
Thus going to popular religions and just following the crowd in what they do is like going downstream. The crowd keeps adding on and diluting the original clear teaching.
Going downstream and following the crowd is way much easier. Like it or not, we must admit that to get to the pure doctrine of religion, we must not flow with the crowd but go upstream and not accept lock stock and barrel what others do and believe.
Another instance of what Bo Tien 武天said on not flowing downstream is in relation to his temple. It is easier to start a new religion or to give the impression of a new religion or sect but this will defeat the purpose.
People will do more of the same as in other popular religions. They will want to show how different the new religion or sect is from the rest. But this is exactly what Bo Tien 武天 does not want.
Why is this so? There is the same pure water in any religion or sect. What matters is not to flow along with what people do or believe but to make the effort to go upstream against the flow to reach the clear, pure and simple teachings of the upper source. This can be done in any religion. This is common to all religions.
What is needed is to make the effort and not just accept what is said or what is popularly believed and done. Thus his temple in physical form is a no-go.
His temple is not a concrete building but the people who want to go for the clear water of any religion at the upper source. It is such people that make up the temple. He added that as long as there is even one or two who know and who care to do so, his temple will go on.
His temple is the mission. It is not a concrete building. It is not to have a concrete building but the building of the concrete thinking of people in all religions on the pure teaching at the upper source of all religions.
There is the same basic teaching of how to be good and pure like God and saints of all religions. The mission is to enable people of all religions to go for the clear water at the upper source.
