No 1338 of Living Life Series 1
Don't say, ' I want happiness.' Remove the 'I' and remove the 'want.' What is left is 'happiness.'
When there is no ego 'I' and no 'wants', there is happiness. Don't wait for happiness. Be happy now. Who said this? The Buddha is one.
But he is not the only one who discovered this truth. Truth is always there in life, in time and in all religions.
This is the Inner Truth that is behind and common to all religions and cultures. Bo Tien 武天 wants all to know this and be better that way in whatever religion they are in or even if none.
We don't even have to believe in saints and prophets like Buddha, Jesus or Bo Tien 武天. But it helps to believe and to have someone to turn to when we have yet to arrive at sainthood.
With their blessings and shelter, issues can be no issues. Even some big issues can be smaller issues even if these cannot be no issues. This is a common Chinese sayings echoed by Bo Tien.
Life is no bed of roses and even roses have thorns.
Life is never without a need, never without a problem, never without a hurtful moment... But never forget that we have a Loving God who is protecting, guiding and helping us to attain a meaningful life!
The above is from the internet and sums up the essence of the Biblical Proverbs 31 on a worthy woman. It echoes the same sentiments mentioned earlier.
This illustrates that the inner truth in life and in all religions is one and same though religions may differ. We can rejoice in this and let off fire crackers.
Be happy and not wait to be happy. This sums up the spirit of Christmas or Chinese New Year.
