No 1336 of Living Life Series 1
The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that his image is the Word and The Word is his image. What is meant by this? It means that idolising him is not the end but practicing what he tells us is.
The dragon chair he sits on as depicted by his image is about two dragons supporting a pearl. He is supported by his dragon chair. He is the pearl - the Word.
What is the Word? the Word is the Inner Truth behind all teachings - all religions. It is in life. Religions like life is colorful and comes in different colors like the many colors of his general's attire.
Do not be mistaken that he is a heavenly general. His image allows him to portray the Word. Whatever the color or religion, what is important is to know how to be good and arrive at peace.
We need to balance the polarities - the positive and negative - the yang and the yin as depicted by the Bagua. This is the Inner Truth common to and underlying all religions and sects. The dragons are the yin and the yang.
We must be at peace and be still even if life goes round and round and in flux. This is what inner peace is all about.
Insight of Inner Truth leads to cultivation of inner peace. The ultimate peace is sainthood.
Inner Peace is the Way the Truth and the Light. This is the teaching of all saints. Men must have in-depth understanding at various levels when Jesus says, "I am the Way, Truth and Light."
It matters not what level we are in. Ultimately, all will arrive at the same Inner Peace.
Because men see the same at different levels and perspectives, there are different denominations within the same religion. There will be more in time to come. This is inevitable. This is like the many colors of the armour of the image of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨.
But be mindful that whatever religion one is in, one will one day either now or in future life arrive at ultimate inner peace - sainthood. The different religions and sects add color to life and lead more to sainthood in the long run.
One is good, two is better and more is best. This is as should be - be it in life or in religion. So wise up and live and let live. Stay focussed and be on track and on target... Do not be sidetracked and be lost.
