No 835 of Living Life Series 1
Humans are attracted to problems like insects to nectar of flower. When there are no problems, they become restless and tend to gravitate to problems. Though they dislike problems, they need to have problems to fill the void.
The irony is that they become overwhelmed by problems they pick up and enter into. The problems may become too big and too hot for them to manage. They turn to the gods or saints above and expect miracles all the time.
In the first place, why look for problems and create more problems. There is need to have insight and learn to be peaceful. A peaceful person will not want problems. He will move on in life and have less problems with more peace.
Even a saint who lives as man will have some problems as long as he is man. But he is at peace with life and its problems. He does not create more problems.
The problems of men are many and plentiful. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨) says.
He adds that with shelter by God and saints, issues will be less or no issue. Small issues will be no issue and big issues less of issue. There is however an element of fate. As long as man is man, there is always the background issues of being man.

Likewise, the price of being involved in a mission of a temple is to be entangled in the differing opinions of men in mission. This too gives weight to the reality that there is the price attached to being man. Man always end up with issues even in mission of a temple saint.
Perhaps, men who know better would no longer want to be men but to be saints in next life. But they must first learn to be men and to be at peace with the price of being men.
