The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Empty amid plenty if we go for eternal fulfilment

No 1590 of Living Life Series 1

Truth is there in any religion and should give satisfaction and succor. But many scream and grumble even while in temple or outside temple.

They claim they have God with them. But their actions and state of mind just do not show that this is the case. Perhaps they see not truth that is there and cannot accept it. They just cannot stomach the truth in life.

Truth is staring in the face of men but many just cannot accept this. Why is this the case? It is in the way men view life.

They go for the unreal and deny what is real. They create their own problems even in religion. Bo Tien 武天 says the problems of men are many and plentiful.

They end up with no friends, no jobs and no religion though friends there should be many, jobs are there and temples are many. Who they meet are often like them and this just make matters worse.

Whilst it is tempting to blame them, what they need is help and not blame. Both the land and heaven above will have to do what they can. There is need to show the bright side of life.

Many in attempt to have fullness of life end up feeling empty and wanting in the midst the plenty, They expect eternal fulfillment but what they harness is actually emptiness.

This has to do with the way they want God, religion, friends and society to meet their needs. Sadly religion, friends and society cannot meet their own needs of fulfillment. This creates and add to the woes.

Do not go for eternal fulfillment but go for inner peace come what may. With inner peace, we will see that we have plenty blessings we take for granted. We do not go for the rainbow. Inner peace concept as exhorted by Bo Tien 武天 is in all religions, cultures and societies.

Truth there but many just cannot accept it

No 1589 of Living Life Series 1

When will men realize that it may be not exactly correct to label someone as belonging to a race just because he is brought up in that race? When will a man realize that he is not only Mr Ben just because in this life he is Mr Ben?

When will men realize that a man can believe more than what they think he should believe just because he is said to be of a specific religion?

What matters is not the religion he professes but what principles he holds about God and life.

There is the sad part that many see only the apparent and the assumed but this is far from true in life.

Bo Tien 武天 reminds that reality is there but many somehow do not accept this.
Truth is there but many choose not to accept the truth. They choose to think and believe otherwise.

Thus the forefathers who were the original leaders of religions do not impose conformity in beliefs as they know this will not be possible in reality.

What is real and what is wanted by organised religion are not the same though many vouch that it is the same.

Truth is staring in the face of men but many just cannot accept this. Why is this the case?

Truth simple yet profound though not profound

No 1588 of Living Life Series 1

A religion should never be managed as though it is a sovereign state. Then there will be the risks of clash of interests and loyalty to the real state and the religion.

God will never want religion to take over a nation for this will create no peace. God has no need to control and to take over nations. It would be absurd to think God wants to take over a nation.

Let there be religions and let all religions work in the interests of men of all religions and be one with the nation.

God and heavenly saints do not need to demand allegiance out of men. God and heavenly saints do not need to be appointed or voted by men to be God and saints.

Likewise, a temple too should be for people to be near to God and saints.

A temple is never intended to make God to be God.

Men too should never make themselves the gods in the temple and decide who should be in the temple and who should not be welcome there. Man cannot be the God in a temple.

God is still God with or without temples or religions. This reality is so simple but yet many just do not see this. Truth is simple but many just do not perceive - simple but yet profound though not profound at all.

This is the insight Bo Tien 武天 wants all to realize regardless of religion or even if none.
Bo Tien 武天 added that even in a less managed and hardly organised traditional culture of Chinese, we must all the more have this insight. Man must not be muddle headed and do what the likes of Ben or John do.

Otherwise, they will not even see the simplicity of truth. They will never see the simplicity and many will be put off and not come at all, except those dwindling number of oldies who just want to do what they do. Even their children will have little interest to be with them at such temples or religions.

Temple be pure and simple and not tainted by men

No 1587 of Living Life Series 1

When will men realize that going to a temple may end up creating more problems for themselves if they go for the wrong reason.

This is not that a temple is not good but that many go to temple for the wrong purpose. That would be making a mockery out of God and disgracing God.

The silence of God is taken as that God concurs with their ungodly purpose. Isn't this pathetic?

They bring out the woes instead of the wows in of all places a temple.

Always remember that a temple is a holy place and this must be upheld for the good of the many and the faithful who go with simplicity of devotion.

Let a temple be pure and simple and let no man or men stand in the way for the simple and faithful to be with God.

A temple of any religion should be pure and simple and not tainted by men.

Bo Tien 武天 says man is man and God is God. Know what is from man and what is from God.

The way to optimize life in any religion or culture

No 1586 of Living Life Series 1

When will a man be a man and not the devil of the ego in man?

When will a man be himself and not deny his self by giving up life? Where can a man go to if he wants to run away from life?

When will a man realize he is no man but a devil if he goes after his ego needs by harming and depriving others?

When he goes for yang, he loses. When he goes for yin, he is also a loser.

Bo Tien 武天 says that man must know life, the ups and downs, the mores and the less.

Trying to have nothing to do with life is a no winner.

Trying to have more in life too makes no winner out of him.

Knowing his limits is less no doubt. But with less, he can make it in life and life will be more easy going and pleasant.

With more, he will end up less. Trying to have nothing is denial and life cannot go on at all.

There must be balance somehow of yin and yang, of having more and more on one hand and of trying to have nothing on the other hand.

To have peace of spirit or heart, let there be balance and peace. Peace of heart allows for more life and its true pleasantries.

Be in life and not out of life. Be not greedily attached to life and have unpleasantness even with more. Go for what we can have through inner peace of heart.

This is in all religions, cultures and societies. This is the message of God through divine messenger Bo Tien 武天. This is how all can optimize life.

What is the purpose of life?

No 1585 of Living Life Series 1

Why do we ask for blessings from the family, from the land and from God? Why do we bemoan and accept our lot in self pity if we do not get the blessings? Why are we like that?

Bo Tien 武天 says that we can be blessings to one another and support one another.

The greatest blessing of all is the  gift of truth. There is need to know what God or any heavenly saint stands for. What is this truth?

Truth is in life but we just do not get it. Why do we not get it? That is the problem.

Bo Tien 武天 says that the problems of men are many and plentiful. Why must men have more problems than they should have?

Any solution they have for a problem may end up creating other problems. What is the failing of men to end up this way?

This has to do with wanting without end. Men want what they want fast and the easy way.

Good if God or the land can just give freebies. Good if no effort needed. Who wants to work for what they want if these can be handouts. Many just ask from the land and from God. They are just ignorant and over dependent.

Bo Tien 武天 says there is need to work by day and rest the other half. No one can get anything without effort and without rest.

God and the land can assist but a man must work for what he wants. He must know what he wants out of life in the long run.

What is the purpose of life? God knows even if men do not.

The point blank answer is that we must have inner peace and then what we go for will not create more headaches and no peace. This inner peace ideal is in all religions, cultures and societies.

Enough to learn from life

No 1584 of Living Life Series 1

Who is right and never wrong?

Who is wrong and never right?

Who is both right and wrong?

Can we learn more from such questions?

Do adulterers and swindlers have no place in life?

Will the law catch up with them?

Will they reap the results of their actions?

Are they no longer  worthy of society, nation or of God?

Bo Tien 武天 says we can learn from the flaws of others and at same time reflect on our own.

We too are not good enough. We can be better persons and if they are accepted by us, by the nation and by God, they too can make good as well and be better than what they are.

The learning from life is what we need. This truth is simple but many fail to perceive. It is enough to learn from life.

Are the ever changing ways good or not good?

No 1583 of Living Life Series 1

Many do want to be better than their elders and parents. Is this necessarily good? Can this be not good?

Well in field of education at least in some countries, this is good. But in the more educated nations, the elders can be better educated and have more financial resources than the many.

Should this be the case, then who will set the tune in what should be best for culture and for religion?

Well, the up and coming generation will always break off from the ways of the elders and decide what they want in life. Religion is a good excuse to impose what they want and how they can differ from the elders even in the same religion.

Christmas, and cultural festivals take on in very changed ways. This is in the nature of life.

Bo Tien 武天 reminds us to be aware of this and not to be surprised that changes must occur with time.

But Bo Tien 武天 says that if we dig away the many layers of changes, we will find the original or basic teaching of a religion or culture. This is the Inner Truth.

All must at some time ask what is the original abiding principles in a religion, culture or a society. This has to do with goodness and respect for everyone not withstanding the elders and parents. Only then can there be goodwill among men and across generations.

Are the ever changing ways good or not good? We should say that they are but yet not.

The important need is to go into depth and go for the inner truth that is behind and the backbone of a religion, culture or a society.

This same inner truth is in all religions and for all times. Bo Tien  武天 wants us not to loose sight of this.

Any religion will do if we know how

No 1582 of Living Life Series 1

Bo Tien 武天 reminds us that we can make it spiritually in any religion or temple.

It is matter of how religion or a temple can make us better.

It is not matter of how we can make religion to serve our selfish needs at expense of the good of others.

We can make it in any religion. But we cannot do it the other way round which is for religion to make it for us.

We cannot change the religion we are in. The religion we are in should change us to be better persons for the religion and for God.

Never try to make God or religion better for us and if we do so we are not doing good justice to God or to religion we are in.

Is a religion to make us better or we make that religion better for us? Religion and God should mold the man and not man molds the religion and God.

Do reflect on this and all in any religion will be better in the respective religions they are in.

Bo Tien 武天 says any religion will do if we know how.

What is the calling in life?

No 1581 of Living Life Series 1

Is there a higher calling?
Can there be two callings in life?
What is the higher calling? This question implies that we have a worldly calling. Do we have a worldly calling? Is there the need for two callings?

Isn't it more correct to say that there is only one calling in life which will work not only for the spiritual life but which is applicable for worldly life?

Bo Tien 武天 says that the basic principles we have for spiritual if applied to worldly life will take care of spiritual life. But many make use of religion to advance primarily their personal worldly life and then as after thought think that there is need for higher calling.

Is there the need for two callings? There is only one calling. This is the calling for life. What then is the calling for life?

Should religion serve the desires of the human flesh and the endless appetite of the ego?

But will people go to religion or a temple if they cannot have worldly blessings?

Will God meet our requests for worldly blessings. All religious institutions will say God will do so. Without this, will there be the crowd coming in?

Bo Tien 武天 says that people come in flocks like ants and insects to a flower for nectar and not for the beauty and peace depicted by the flower. But surely we can have both, can't we?

Bo Tien 武天 says that worldly blessings are needed so long as we are humans, but what matters more is that we not be lost in the pursuits of worldly blessings.

We must be at peace in spirit that is at heart. Then we will be happy with whatever blessings that come our way and not want more on more.

We move on in peace of heart come what may. There will be storms and calm seas. Storms do not last forever and calm seas do not last either.

The truth of life is that we must be at peace at heart whether we have little or more. Then we can move on in life and blessings of any kind will just come our way.

Without this inner peace at heart, we will be troubled by what we do not yet have and forget what we already have or be blind to what come our way.

There is only one calling. This is the calling to be at peace at heart - to be pure and good. Bo Tien 武天 refers to this as the Inner Truth in all religions, culture and societies.

Any religion, culture or society will do. What we need is to know the one and only calling in life - the calling of the Inner Truth in life. How can there be two callings?
