Many early members in the temple of the good lord Lord Bo Tien were in the early years embarrassed by the good lord's doctrine of Four Pillars that all religions are sanctioned by God and have the same inner or basic truth. They were afraid that this will be infringing on the domains of other religions.

Thus they would rather focus on welfare work and the goal of having concrete and permanent premises. It is not that they are shirking responsibilities but that they would rather prefer what they are comfortable with. Such men have done good welfare works and as the good lord did say will still get rewards and there is no doubt about that.
But the Mission of the good lord is at the world stage. It is to reveal more clearly that there is the same basic logic or truth in all sects and religions.
To many members in the early days of the temple and perhaps even now, this is best left alone on the wall as The Four Pillar Doctrine - otherwise also known as the Inner Truth Doctrine. The word 'Four' refers to the religions in the four cardinal directions - north south, east and west. Some think the word refers to the four main faiths.
The apprehension of taking this Four Pillar Doctrine on as the thrust or front-line of Mission is real and understandable. It is afterall good to be discreet so as not to ruffle feathers.
The Mission of Heaven for the Four Pillars or rather for The Inner Truth is like what Buddha Gautama said of the cultivation of spiritual. It is against the current or flow.
The mission has to unravel the misgivings or misconceptions of society with regards to religions and show that all religions are one and yet different and distinct. To many, this is in some way a contradiction.
Even many of those in the temples named after the good lord cannot come to terms with this. But there will always be those who will understand and the mission will reach out to them. They are out there in the world and may not be in the temples bearing the name of the good lord.
So Inner Truth Netizen 2 is one of those who cannot waste time and be confined to such temples but go beyond so that the mission of the good lord can reach out to the world like the great ocean to many a land. Those faithful remaining in the temples bearing the name of the good lord can continue to do good in their own way.
