The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Never more God than God and more saint than saint

No 427 of Living Life Series 1

Is there the need for us to be more God than God by ever in habit of pronouncing judgement on men for being not up to the mark.

God leaves men alone and gives leeway but men will be quick to pass comment that God would not be happy if we fail to do this or that.

It is more difficult to clear the hurdle of men than to clear the hurdle of God in matters of what is alright and what is not.

It does seem that men can often be more God than God. Thus one religion may claim itself to be more to God than another.

One over zealous sect may think it is more reflective of the thinking of God than others.

Some may even go to war in name of God and they call it a holy war.

Ji Gong in his life as man centuries ago was judged on by the monks in the monastery and they thought he could not make it because he broke the rules.

He ate meat and drank wine. He was unkempt and frolicked with beggars and children. He was attired in beggars clothes.

They judged him as non-compliant and he had to leave the monastery.

But it turned out that he was practicing from the heart and not putting up a show to get the approval of men. "It is the heart that counts and not what goes through the gut or the act one puts up."

The monks were acting more God than God or rather more saint than saint. Ji Gong has long since been acclaimed as the living buddha despite the initial misgivings by men and monks of the monastery.

Do not be more God than God and more saint than saint. The next time we see a beggar on the road or someone who is seemingly not presentable or convincing, be mindful. He may be more wholesome than we think. There may be more than meet the eye. He may be the next Ji Gong or saint. Omitofo.

Even Lord Bo Tien may choose a criminal or thief to be a religious leader or medium. Lord Bo Tien says that if he wants to, even such a person is worthy and will be trained.

Lord Bo Tien

Men may say that that man is unfit and unworthy of respect, let alone training or cultivation. Judgmental man thinks that he is more saint than saint.

The qualities in a man may not be discernible from his actions and life. The wrong he does in life should not be the basis for men to denounce him or even to view him lowly. Only conceited and self-opinionated men may be susceptible to do so.

The wise and humble do not judge lest they be judged. The humble will be exalted and the exalted humbled. This did Jesus say.
