Who would ever imagine
that the teachings of a saint
in time would travel round the world
But this did happen not once
but many times over
In fact those in foreign land
are more ardent in belief
than those in the land
of the saint in question.
Isn't that a wonder to behold?
Even the celebration
of the birth of a saint
is embraced more by those
who are not of the land
the saint hailed from
That too is awesome
more so when in truth
those not in the faith
too are the ones to cherish
the day of the birth
All goes to show
that with saintly love
there is no barriers
love breaks barriers
and win many hearts
Christmas is one such event
The loving spirit of Christ
cannot be confined
to those who believe
but is embraced by all
God through the good lord
Lord Bo Tien advises all
not only to adore all saints
for their glory is ever
in the thought of men
We must not only adore
but also must we believe
what they teach in context
of the times and places
where they set foot on Earth.
This will be good for all
This is what we must do
This is action we take
to show all religions are one
in God and in goodness.
Let us ever do good
Let us avoid evil
Let us purify the mind
Isn't this same in all
the religions of the day?
