Worry not what others say. We do not have to agree or even say we don't agree. Just thank them for their views and we can still do what we want to do.
That way we keep the peace in family, society or at work and we will have more inner peace.
They make noise. We do not add on to the noise. No need to bring the roof down. That is how we should handle life.
Otherwise, we will not have own life and will end up living other's life which is impossible. We don't want to upset others or ourselves.
It is not whether we get knocked down but it is whether we get up again.
We must always be like the sun rising in the morning with every sunset. Bo Tien 武 天 dwells on sunrise and sunset as inevitables in life. If we live only in sunset mode, then life is gloomy.
Isn't this common sense? Truth is just common sense and is simple. It is in any religion.
But when we try to explain it, it becomes no longer simple and can be confusing at times, more so when the person trying to do so is too young and tries to show he knows better.
Cell group members especially of very young people are likely to misinterpret and mislead. They call what is black as white. Experienced preachers do not do that and make sermons short and sweet and deal with everyday life.
